80 Lights Raising Freedom

On May 5, 80 yogis came together to let their light shine for the girls at StreetLightUSA. As 80 mats unrolled at the base of the falls at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, the sun was hot but tempered by a decent breeze - a beautiful Phoenix morning.

As a #yoga teacher, StreetLightUSA Ambassador Hanan Palz had it on her heart to lead a yoga fundraising event... and she made it happen! With the tranquil hum of waterfalls in the background, she led us through an hour of yoga to strengthen not only our bodies, but also our heart for the cause.

We are thankful to all those who opened their hearts to support the girls at StreetLightUSA. Our staff felt encouraged by the numerous questions and interest in the issue of #childsextrafficking.

Raising Freedom Poolside Yoga raised more than twice what we expected! Thank you to all who generously donated raffle and auction items as well as the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort for donating the space. Every dollar raised from this event came back to StreetLightUSA to support the girls in our care.
