Adopt-a-Cottage Projects for small groups

StreetLightUSA is ready to make a big push so that all the cottages will be completed and furnished by the end of March. The sooner we are ready, the sooner we will be able to take in our full capacity of 48 girls. Each girl we can have under our roof represents a minimum of 10 sex crimes and rapes against that child that will be prevented every single night.
In the interest of keeping the girls’ furnishings within each house the same, we would love for groups to sponsor a complete set of beds or chairs for a cottage. Here are some ideas for the connections you may have that could take part in this project:
- Corporate work team
- Sports teams
- A Bible study or home fellowship group
- A youth group
- A red hat ladies group
- Civic groups
- Social service associations
Items can be purchased outright from a store, or if someone has connections for getting a cottage setup donated, that would be a great option.
Each cottage will house eight girls. These items are needed to finalize each unit.
