Abolitionist

The 13th Amendment abolished slavery over 146 years ago. Yet, two children at the average age of 13 are sold into slavery every sixty seconds.
Drug dealers and pimps have found a greater revenue source. They have learned that a drug can only be sold once and a child can be sold for commercial sex 10-15 times each day. This injustice to children must be stopped!
Campaign13 symbolizes hope, faith, peace, dreams, and trust to believe that together we can stop child rape for profit.
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

What does it mean to become an Abolitionist? As an Abolitionist, you commit to the following:
- Vow to take a stand – Educate yourself about the issue.
- Wear a sticker for 13 days that says, “Ask me about 13.”
- Educate and engage 13 others in abolition work.

As an Abolitionist, your name will be added to Petition13 affirming the need to stop commercial sex trafficking of children. This petition will be presented to Legislators nationwide and to Congress to urge them to pass legislation that will protect our children from becoming victims of sex slavery, provide a mechanism for rescuing victims, and increase penalties for those who exploit them.
